I'm originally from Rhode Island but I currently reside in South Carolina. I relocated after meeting the love of my life that I've been with since November 26th, 2010. We have four fur babies; three cats and one dog. I have an Associates Degree in Business Administration as well as attended technical school for Culinary and Baking Arts. We purchased our first house in 2017. I work for Arthrex as a Suture Assembly Operator II and have been with the company since May of 2023. Prior to that, I worked for Electrolux as a Quality Tech. I'm extremely passionate about quality and hope to work in quality for Arthrex in the near future.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music of various genres, playing videos games, baking, cooking, traveling, trying new restaurants and blogging. I love to try new things in general. I'm a huge advocate for mental health and self-care. I'm a non-denominational follower of Jesus. My favorite season is Fall which leads me to my favorite holiday being Halloween. I'm opinionated - allow me to open your mind. Don't worry, I won't push my ideations on you if that's not what you want. I like healthy, mature, mutual discussions and/or debates on controversial topics. I'm very open minded and welcome fresh perspectives.
A Bright Sunshiny Day was created primarily to vent my day to day musings. I consider myself a relatable life-style blogger. I've been through quite a lot in the amount of time that I've put in here on earth so far, so I speak (write) from experience. I'll spare the inky details. I'm on a self-guided journey of metamorphosis and sweet reinvention - a journey to meet my true self, something I'm not sure I've ever achieved due to the nature of what I've been through. I can't guarantee that my posts will always be filled with rainbows and sunshine but what I can promise is that they will always be authentic.
